Probably the most well-known writer of any genre in the world. I used to live a mile or so from him in Bangor,Maine. I've met King, and he seemed like a nice guy. I just wouldn't turn my back to him...

Yes...seen him on the UMO campus a few times myself...but the best time had to be when we were driving down west broadway and he pulled up on our right, made a big face at us, and drove away....remember?????
