John Lennon

One of the greatest singer/songwriters of all time, one of the founding members of the greatest musical group in modern times and probably ever, died this day in 1980. He was, of course, John Winston Lennon. The group was The Beatles. If you are young and don't know the tragic story, John was shot by a crazy lunatic. I will not mention his name. He has enough infamy already. I miss you, John. The whole world misses you. All John said was, "give peace a chance." Now he rests in peace.
