Hump The Shark

Tonight is the "Happy Days 30th Anniversary Reunion" on ABC. Geez... 30 years. Maybe they shoulda waited... forever? Actually, I liked the show in the early days UNTIL: on Sept. 4, 1977, the infamous episode that inspired the web site www.jumptheshark.com - the one where Fonzie, wearing water skis and his leather jacket, literally jumps a shark. If this blog ever jumps the shark, I will love it! It'll mean that it once was good enough to become mediocre. Your opinions are always welcome.

...and thank God that doesn't always happen, take for instance a show like M*A*S*H, which went on for 11 seasons and seemed to get better and better (thankfully they got rid of that annoying Larry Linville)... I think it's a matter of what you form in your mind, and that causes your reality to eventually manifest for you ... if you expect to fall off your waterskiis and get eaten by a shark, it ineveitably will happen to you ... I prefer to at least jump the carrot (I always use them), or better yet, jump the banana, since they are smooooooooother and thick all the way......ugggggggghhhhhhhh OOOOOOOOOHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
