Independence Day

Politically, I am an Independent. I try to glean the best ideas from all political parties and incorporate them into my belief system. I think things are too complicated today to look at everything in black and white. For example, I believe the war in Iraq was a good idea. But I also believe that the government could do a much better job taking care of its own. Furthermore, I am concerned about freedom of speech and the use of fear to control people. The truth regarding most issues is somewhere in the middle for me.
