Fraud, Waste, and Abuse

The federal government has pledged to spend some 200 billion to help the victims of Hurricane Katrina. Some of the recipients of government debit cards have shown their gratitude by spending the emergency money on $800 handbags and stripper lap dances. God help us.

I can see the lap dances ... but the handbags??????? what a waste ... I'm sure even more went to drugs and other totally useless sources ... maybe now they will plan ahead a little more with that stuff and limit the use of the aid money, before Bush spends all his credit on prostitutes after Hurricane Rita nails his Crawford ranch ...

there also seems to be quite a concern as to where the donated money from private citizens is actually going ... why is there a world forum being formed to make sure the money goes directly to the needy??????? is it possible, just a hunch, that millions of dollars are just going into polititions pockets? now, who would do an awful thing like that ... not greedy people ... no ... well, for instance, Mommy Bush says the poor are used to living that way anyway, not to mention that she thinks it's a frightening thought that they may actually stay in texas ... now, why give them money if they are used to being poor ??????? ... things that make you go hmmmmmm ...
