Fuck The FCC

The Federal Communications Commission has already driven Howard Stern from the airwaves as of the end of the year. Stern is moving to Sirius Satellite Radio, a pay service. If you want to hear Stern, as I do, you will have to cough up $12.95 a month. The terrestrial media have cowered to the goverment censors. Now, the FCC , not satisfied with censoring Stern for so-called "indecency", is now talking about going after pay services like satellite and cable for content. Go ahead, assholes. The subsequent court challenges will end up freeing all broadcast media to say what they want when they want. If the idea of all this bullshit is to "protect the children", let parents make those decisions. Stop all this political pandering to the religious right. This gross unconstitutional violation of the first amendment will not be tolerated by true Americans.
