School's Out (of sense)

I heard today of a Massachusetts elementary school that has banned the child's game "tag" from its playground. My God, have we gone mad? The principal says he is afraid of injuries that might result from such "rough play." I'll bet what he really is afraid of are liability lawsuits. Kids today don't get enough exercise as it is, and schools like this one want to prevent them from playing innocent childhood games children have experienced for centuries? We are raising a generation of wimps who will be ill-equipped to handle the rigors of everyday life. God help us.
